In the Hive

My latest sampler block.

Well, the bee was busy yesterday in my flowerbed one the first day of Fall. We also took a nice hike near home.

This is the fabric I am pulling colors from for the groups latest sampler. Notice the bees????

I redid my first block in the brighter color scheme!

I redid this block in bright colors. Now I just have to redo block 1!

I decided to restart our group sampler in brighter colors. While I like the reproduction prints I started with, the darkness of the colors was wearing on me. So, I went and got a bright print to pull colors from.

I found a new bee at a shop in town. She is about 2 feet tall and makes me smile!

We've had a bit of a heatwave here lately. Thomas and I went out to take some pictures of our favorite flowers in the yard.
