Lititz Chocolate Walk!

Image
This past weekend we went on quilt retreat in Lititz, Pa and did the chocolate walk. There were chocolate samples available at 29 of the shops! Chocolate Mice Jean enjoying her chocolate sundae! The chocolate display at Wilbur Chocolates below is entirely edible!

My friday chocolate came a bit early!

Thomas and Daddy found this bar for me last night at Wegmans! It really is an intense dark chocolate, just like the wrapper says - if you are used to milk chocolate, you will not like this one!

Sometimes Friday is too far away...

I had to get my own chocolate!

My Dad has clearly been reading my blog! He and my stepmother sent me a early birthday surprise from Oregon - yummy! Maybe it will distract me from the fact I will turn 40 this year! Thanks Dad and Sue!

Dinner was Good!

Image
Dinner was good at The Chart House, but we can't afford to do that trip often! Mike and I split an appetizer of Coconut Crunchy Shrimp. We both had the salad bar. My main course was Cashew Crusted Sole with roasted vegetables. Michael had the Flounder special with artichokes and veggies. All with a nice bottle of wine. For dessert, we finally had the famous Hot Chocolate Lava Cake. It was very good, but very rich!

New Chocolate!

Michael and Thomas brought this chocolate home from Wegmans last night. Between the five of us, it did not last long!

MMM... Belgian Chocolate!

Image
Andrew's friend Geert sent us some chocolates from Belgium. They all had a sea theme - seahorses, shells, prawns, and mussels. They taste great! Thank You Geert!

Valentine's Day 2009!

Image
What a fun day. I got the boys a HUGE Whitman's Sampler. Michael bought me a lovely bouquet of flowers. Andrew made chocolate covered strawberries for dessert. Our elderly neighbors also surprised us and gave us a bouquet of flowers for helping them out when they were having health issues.
