Michael got me a teacup planter and Andrew made me a treat tower with teas, chocolates, and cookies!

For my birthday dinner this year I have decided to make Citrus Salmon Fillets, Roasted Potato Salad, and snow peas. For dessert, I made a chocolate pistachio and almond tart! Doesn't it look yummy?

Thomas and I were fooling around trying on sunglasses at CVS yesterday! The only thing I don't like about sunglasses is the more feminine ones usually have some type of tacky *bling* on the arms. I don't put bling on my quilts, so I don't want bling on my glasses!

My friend Kathy is very talented ... she knits, she quilts, she paints easter eggs ... the list goes on and on. I frequently send her project ideas to tease her and tell her she can make one for me! Well, she surprised me today with a dead fish hat!!! Thanks Kathy!

I hate having my picture taken, but Geert took a good shot of Andrew and I at the art museum so I am posting it! This is me on the morning of our trip, before the boys walked me to exhaustion!
